Chef Ray Duey

To call him an artist is an understatement at best, for Chef Ray does things to food that is unsurpassed in beauty, skill and finesse. In fact, Chef Ray is known for taking any fruit or vegetable, and turning the ordinary into something extraordinary. Having spent the last two decades developing his skill and creating spectacular carvings for weddings, events, classes and seminars, he literally mesmerizes onlookers with his creative sculpting. Adding to his unique gift for carving is his matchless ability for teaching, which moves, inspires and excites all those who attend his culinary sculpting classes. According to Chef Ray, there is simply no fruit or vegetable that cannot be carved into something dramatic and thus far he has demonstrated that any type of produce can be carved into arrangements or centerpieces that literally astonish.

Jimmy

Jimmy Zhang graduated from the Culinary Arts Institute in China in 1989 as chef with a personal interest in the ancient fruit and vegetable carving art. Thru his diligence and a strong desire to master the art, Chef Jimmy excelled in his artistic creations within a couple years, and was invited to teach fruit carving classes at a culinary school in 1993.

In 1998, Chef Jimmy came to the United States making his mark in the US professional culinary carving world with his unique talents and his vast experience in the Chinese art of fruit and veggie carving. Chef Jimmy has earned many medals for top positions at culinary competitions in the U.S.
