AICD's training/certification programs are a valuable way to
earn
points
for ACF's certification programs, which are independent of AICD.
As a corporate member and supporter of the American Culinary Federation (ACF) and the World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS), AICD's training programs have been developed to not only meet the needs and safety standards of the culinary and commercial ice carving industries, but also help chefs fulfill the professional growth requirements associated with earning advanced certification from ACF.
Certificates indicating the number of hours of training successfully completed at AICD are provided to assist AICD graduates with the documentation needed for continuing education hours and professional development units for ACF certification levels. As part of our alumni services, we are happy to provide any additional documentation that graduates may need for their particular circumstances.
In addition to serving the needs of culinary students and chefs, AICD also provides specialized curriculum guidance and training for culinary educators who desire to teach the advance techniques of professional ice carvers.

AICD's training/certification programs are a valuable way to

for NICA's certification programs, which are independent of AICD.
As a long-time member (since 1991) who is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the National Ice Carving Association (NICA), Paul Germain has developed AICD to not only meet the needs and safety standards of the culinary and commercial ice carving industries, but also to help carvers fulfill the professional growth requirements required for additional certification offered by the National Ice Carving Association.
Certificates indicating the number of hours of training successfully completed at AICD are provided to assist AICD graduates with the documentation needed to earn NICA certification points. As part of our alumni services, we are happy to provide any additional documentation that graduates may need for their particular circumstances.

In addition to providing comprehensive private ice carving instruction and ongoing support for graduates, AICD will be hosting special events featuring well known leaders in the ice sculpting industry who have distinguished themselves in either the commercial or competitive arenas.
Please send Paul Germain an email indicating that you would like to be notified about these events. These events will be scheduled based upon student interest. |

Testimony:
"I took Paul's ice sculpture course from 12/12/08 to 12/14/08. The course was very intensive. I learned an amazing amount in a very short time. Paul was a great instructor and he shared his expertise with me in an extraordinarily engaging manner. With his help, I made a Buddha ice sculpture which I didn't think was possible, and I am proud to be one of Paul's graduates. I would definately recommend Paul's AICD course to anyone interested in ice sculpture."
